Our Policy.

It's estimated that over 1 million tones of textiles are thrown away every year in the UK alone. At least half of this could be recycled, thus saving resources. Much of the textiles waste does not decompose and the chemicals within them can contribute to environmental pollution. Wool does decompose but then it produces methane, which contributes to global warming. There are also very good reasons why recycled clothing is good for the planet. You're not wasting fabrics or old clothes that might otherwise go in the bin and become landfill.

At Reworn we believe that some things are just to good to go to waste and hopefully you feel the same way. Reworn was born out of a love for old clothing, and is the brainchild of two, what you might call, 'hoarders'. We can't stand to see the clothes we love end their lives and so we have been giving them a new lease of life. Now you can do the same. Recycle the clothes that hold memories from good times and experiences - the clothes that you, or your loved ones don't wear anymore and the clothes that you just don't want to say good bye to. We all have our favourites that stay at the back of the wardrobe, so why not re-use and recycle.

Reworn is a design-led ethical brand, which creates stylish and relevant products from recycled clothing, whilst keeping original fastenings, seams and design features and re-inventing them. Our aim to re-use the original fastenings and features also means that the use of other materials is kept to a minimum and production time and cost also kept to a minimum. Don't worry if your item is not in mint condition, we will do our best to repair it. Your product will be entirely recycled, any additional fabrics needed are sourced from charity shops, Jumble sales, car boot sales or donations, Reworn recycles your clothing personally and returns it to you for a new life.

Reworn is in it's infancy, and as a small company does not out source any production currently. We are constantly working on new ideas and ways to improve our products and services. Reworn hopes to learn and grow with experience and bring you new relevant products which will continue to help you recycle.
